Applications for admission for Reception classes are to be made to the Local Authority Essex County Council

The application dates are usually between November and January; application opening and deadline dates regarding applications for September 2026 will be updated by Essex County Council shortly.

In year admissions 

If you require to change your child/rens school during the academic year, applications can made directly to us by completing our online form. Once we receive your request we will endeavour to respond to you within 48hrs to advise if a place is available.

Nursery Places

We have nurseries for children aged 2 years to 4 years at both North Crescent Primary and Rayleigh Primary School. Applications for nursery places are dealt with directly at the schools to which they belong and are linked above.
